Candidate Joe Biden ran for president on a promise of uniting our divided nation. Then, during his long-awaited, much-anticipated first press conference, he repeated the promise. In years past, such a claim made by the most divisive president since Andrew Johnson would have elicited cries of disbelief from reporters, followed by probing questions. But that was in the old days, before real journalists were replaced by leftist media minions. A real journalist, upon hearing Biden s unity claim, would have pointed out the president was proposing a fantasy worthy of Walt Disney.

The twist and turns of the Mrs World pageant held on Sunday continues and to add another twist in this drama Pushpika de Silva holding a media conference today stated that she will take on the issue of divorcees contesting at the pageant to the world body.
However she also dropped a bombshell stating that she will pursue a political career and had also attempted to contest the Parliamentary elections from the Polonnaruwa District last time but she was not given nominations.
She stated that she has an intention of entering politics in the future. She further state that she will carry on her struggle as a single mother and stand in solidarity with them.
